They are searching for an ambitious, hungry and innovative Sales professional who can help build and grow the business in line with demand. As a senior member of the team the role will cover Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations activities.

About the role:

Main Duties/Responsibilities Of The Role:

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a fast growing and exciting new venture. The preferred candidate will operate closely with the Sales Director to perfect and enhance the Sales and Marketing proposition and to ensure Cogress can hit their aggressive financial growth milestones.

This role will require an intelligent, hungry and motivated Sales professional who can think outside the box and assist in getting the best output from the team by setting a stellar example. The pace is fast and the team is a dynamic and diverse combination of individuals.

The key activities:

  • Contact new leads discussing and explaining the investment model Cogress offer with the aim to set up face to face meetings
  • Respond to both incoming calls and actively searching for new leads by attending networking events and creating a new contact base
  • Conduct both face to face and phone meetings with potential investors, discussing the model in detail and specific investment opportunities which are currently available
  • Hit aggressive sales targets both in terms of sales, growing the client base and increasing the active investor group conversion rates
  • Create and maintain own data base of investors, maintaining relations and updating investors on new investments opportunities and on 
the status on their existing investment/ progress
  • Awareness of and adherence to regulatory requirements regarding the sales of UCIS products

Education And Professional Qualifications (Desirable):

  • Any Sales accreditation/training
  • Graduate from university
  • FCA accredited
  • Highly numerate

Career Experience / Background:

  • Proven track record in Sales and achieving targets
  • Strong customer relationship management, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of coming up with new and innovative ideas to enhance sales
  • Ability to quickly build a strong rapport with HNW investors (especially over the phone)
  • Experience of financial products and/or the property market
  • Business Skills & Knowledge:

Analytical skills. Ability to think logically to analyse problems & people

  • Exceptional communication skills – ability to relay information in a concise and understanding way to lead to successful sales
  • Self-starter who can think outside the box to generate new ideas and sales
  • Control and process engineering experience is valuable (enhancing the sales process as the business grows is desirable)
