Events & Sales Coordinator

Start date: Immediate

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and responsible events and sales coordinator with great organisational skills and fresh ideas.

The candidate will support the Business Development Director in approaching and recruiting new investors and business partners and organising business events. You’ll be required to plan and run events with a methodical approach and have an eye for detail in order to conduct research and presale.

Events

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support/plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Work with manager to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget
  • Research vendors (catering etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Ensure follow up
  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

Sales support 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Use various sources, including LinkedIn, to identify and research potential clients and business partners
  • Prepare the information for the sales process
  • Ensure follow-ups are being completed
  • Run analysis on investors, sources, clients and partners and suggest ways to improve and focus the process

 

Requirements

  • Dedicated and hard working
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience as event coordinator and or presale/researcher
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office and good understanding of LinkedIn and social media
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • BSc/BA in Business Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred
